This study aimed to assess the IL skills of undergraduate students at the University of Zambia (UNZA) by applying the American College of Research Libraries Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education (the Framework). Focus groups were used to collect qualitative data from 22 participants. Questions were formulated to guide the discussion. Audio recordings of the discussions were transcribed and analyzed using Nvivo 12 software. Results indicated that participants presented some but not all knowledge practices and dispositions in each of the six concepts of the Framework. This study offers valuable insights for African libraries contemplating aligning their IL instruction with the Framework.}, issn = {2708-2695}, pages = {1--7}, url = {http://41.63.0.109/index.php/journal/article/view/141} }
